In order to turn on the Wi-Fi Direct feature, you need to follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi Preferences > Advanced > Wi-Fi Direct. Your smartphone will start scanning for devices.
  • Select the scanned device and you will connect. If you have already used that feature earlier then previously connected device list will also show.

Make sure that both the devices should enable Wi-Fi Direct option to work perfectly.
