Oppo K3 was launched in China on May 23. The device comes with a pop-up selfie camera and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It’s also powered by SDM710 SoC and sports a Panoramic Samsung AMOLED display. Oppo mentioned that the K3 is certified by Germany TUV Rheinland for better eye protection. It also includes VOOC 3.0 fast charging, GameBoost 2.0, etc.
The Oppo K3 also features AI portrait mode and AI scene detection. There is also an Ultra Clear Night View 2.0 feature to enhance the lowlight photography.
Oppo K3 Specifications and Features
The handset comes with a 6.5-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 × 2340 pixels. It’s a 19.5:9 aspect ratio display. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 710 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB of inbuilt storage. The phone also brings GameBoost 2.0 and more.

The smartphone sports a 16MP pop-up selfie camera module. While the back side sports a dual camera setup with a 16MP+2MP rear camera setup. It runs on ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box. The handset comes with USB Type-C port and a 5,000 mAh battery.
It includes connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, etc. The phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Price and Availability
The Oppo K3 price has been set at CNY 1,599 (Rs.16,100 approx) in China for the 6GB/64GB variant. While the 6GB/128GB variant is priced at CNY 1,899 (Rs.19,100 approx). Meanwhile, the higher 8GB/256GB variant comes with a price tag of CNY 2,299 (Rs.23,200 approx).
The device will go on sale starting from June 1 and pre-order has been started already via the Oppo web store.
