Vivo has launched another Y-series mid-range smartphone called Vivo Y3 in China recently. The device is currently available on JD.com at a price tag of 1,500 Yuan which approximately INR 15,000 in India. It has a single 4GB/128GB variant which can be expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. It comes with two color options of Peacock Blue and Peach Pink. The handset packs with a 5,000 mAh battery with dual engine fast charging support.
Vivo Y3 CPU, GPU, Display
The device is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset coupled with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The device features a new e-sports mode 2.0, Game Cube, dual engine fast charging, easy mode, etc. Vivo Y3 sports a 6.35-inched HD+ dewdrop notch display with a resolution of 1544 × 720 pixels. The display is a 19.3:9 aspect ratio, and offers 89 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Camera Features
The Vivo Y3 sports a triple camera set up of a 13MP primary + an 8MP ultra-wide angle + a 2MP depth sensor with an LED flash. The front features a 16MP selfie shooter with portrait mode, AI Beautification mode, etc. It supports AI Face Unlock as well.
Connectivity, OS, Sensors
In terms, of the connectivity options, the device includes 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, micro USB, GPS, Wi-Fi, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie along with Funtouch OS 9 skin out-of-the-box. Currently, there is no information about the availability outside of China market. The device features some of the sensors like accelerometer, digital compass, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and proximity sensor. The dimensions of the Vivo Y3 are 159.43 × 76.77 × 8.92mm and it weighs around 190.5 grams.
