Android Q beta for OnePlus 7 series is live now

Steps to install Android Q Developer preview on OnePlus 7 Pro

  • Download the latest ROM upgrade zip package from the specified server.
  • Copy the ROM upgrade package to the phone storage.
  • Go to Settings > System > System Updates > tap top right icon > Local upgrade > tap on the corresponding installation package > upgrade > System upgrade completed to 100%.
  • After the upgrade is complete, tap on Restart.
  • The phone will boot into recovery mode to format user data, it will reboot again after formatting.
  • Update successful.​

Steps to Rollback Android Q Developer Preview on OnePlus 7 Pro

For those who want to rollback Android Q Beta DP3 to the stable official version, they can follow the steps mentioned below. Please take a backup of your phone at first.

  1. Download the latest ROM upgrade zip package from the specified server.
  2. Copy the Rollback package to the phone storage.
  3. Go to Settings > System > System Updates > tap top right icon > Local upgrade > select the corresponding installation package > upgrade > System upgrade completed to 100%.
  4. After the upgrade is complete, select Restart.
  5. The phone will boot into recovery mode to format user data, it will reboot again after formatting.
  6. Update successful.​
